At birth Yahira's mother gave her away.  What an astoundingly painful way to begin your life journey. but when she was born her mother gave away.  And so Yahira’s life was marred with alcohol addiction, physical abuse and the belief that she was invisible.  Yahira’s is the most impressive of all TLJ microloan recipients.  With her first microloan she renovated an old bike to be used to distribute her goods.  That bike was stolen after about 1 month into her loan.  She still paid off that loan.  With her second micro

loan she bought another bike and paid off that loan. She eventually sold the bike and renovated a motorcycle.  With the last loan she had bought an old pick-up truck.  Yahira now has a small warehouse where she stores all types of goods that she distributes to residential and commercial clients.
